CK RP 54's starts off with a blend of choice Nicaraguan grown filler tobaccos and is wrapped in a premium Honduran binder. The lynch pin of the whole blend (and what has held up production all of these years) is the wrapper. It is a dark and oily Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper. This wrapper is not dyed or cooked, rather what you see is the natural darkness of this very rare leaf. The end result is nothing short of fantastic! CK RP 54's are full bodied and full strength. This blend was created specifically for the veteran smoker looking for something with a little more hair on it. It is bursting with rich flavors of earth, smoked cedar, and pepper. Also, hints of cocoa and a dash of sweetness are noticeable on the finish. 8 years is a long time to wait for an incredible cigar, but it was without a doubt worth the wait!
